Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (MRED) Enters Into Licensing Agreement with Listingbook

Midwest Real Estate Data LLC (MRED) announced today it has entered into a licensing agreement with Listingbook to provide MRED’s 40,000 customers with Listingbook’s new Agent Insight online service that, starting in 2011, will revolutionize how Chicagoland’s homebuyers and sellers receive real estate listings and communication from their real estate agents.

Listingbook is a client servicing application that empowers buyers and sellers to retrieve key information regarding instant market data through a collaborative relationship with their agent.  Listingbook automates, tracks and analyzes client activities in an agent-managed, real-time environment that encourages collaboration and communication. It is being customized to match MRED’s MLS data definitions and business rules and will allow MRED brokers and agents to register their buyers and sellers and give them access to a content rich, collaborative and personalized web-based application that searches listings, provides CMAs, manages Open Houses, organizes tasks and provides daily communications and informational updates between the agent and their clients.

“The Listingbook Application enhances and extends the power of our MLS system allowing agents to be even more proactive and productive in servicing their clients,” said Russ Bergeron, CEO of MRED.  “We are thrilled to be able to provide this premium client development and retention tool to our brokers and agents to better serve their clients.”  “The key aspect of Listingbook our Board found most attractive is it empowers the consumer while constantly keeping the agent in control of the transaction process,” stated Dean Rouso, President of MRED.

“Thanks to Listingbook’s Reporting System, my sellers see real time price reductions and new listing competition.  They now call me to request price reductions!  Listingbook also lets my buyer clients browse the MLS listing content like an agent while letting me see what they’re searching.  My business has increased more than 25% because I am working with ‘smarter’ buyers and sellers,” says Earl Ruthman, Broker for Coldwell Banker Leader Realty.

Todd S. John, Listingbook COO, stated, “Agents’ quantifiably see their businesses grow when they use Listingbook and that’s why comments like Earl’s come to us daily from across the country.  Never have I been involved with a business where the unsolicited customer testimonials pour in like they do here.  We’re thrilled to bring our patented client management system to the Chicagoland, but even more excited to watch agents’ businesses grow as a result.”

“In today’s market, it is even more crucial to have a tool that empowers consumers and improves the efficiency and professionalism of MRED’s customers.  We expect terrific results based on the feedback from other Listingbook markets,” said Bergeron.

Hiya. Is there a cost associated with Listingbook.com? Or just being a member of MRED is it free? Thanks!

Hi, Mike – there will not be a cost associated with Listingbook – it is free to you as an MRED customer. We had planned to go live with LIstingbook already, but they have come up with a significant upgrade. We decided to wait until after the upgrade was completed so our customers would not have to learn it twice (the upgrade is significant). Watch for announcements soon for when it will launch and you can take full advantage of it for free as a customer of MRED.

I have had an account for over a year with Listingbook. My account is debited on the 20th of every month for the monthly charge. I am on hold with them at the moment to have them switch me to a free account being a member of MRED.
        Thank you
